Millie Medeiros, a resident at Golden Living Nursing Home in Old Bridge, died Sunday January 27, 2013, at the home. Born in Newark, NJ, she was 96 years old and had lived in Toms River and was formerly of Edison. She was affectionately known as "Silly Millie" by family and friends and will be missed deeply by all.

Surviving are her children, Ronnie R. Medeiros and wife Bonnie of Englishtown and Pat Terranova of Edison; grandchildren: Tammy Terranova, Thomas Terranova, Jr. and wife Theresa, Rocco Peter Terranova and wife Paula, Patrice Raspa and husband Nino, Mark Medeiros, and Nicole Medeiros; 10 great grandchildren; and her caretakers, Suzie and Fred Sepulveda.

Funeral services will begin Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 11:30AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of Peace Church. Entombment will be in St. Gertrude Mausoleum. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 7:00-9:00PM at the funeral home.
