Mildred Reeder (nee Kieser), 95, of South Plainfield, passed peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Mildred was born on May 13, 1928 in New Brunswick and resided in Metuchen for many years, before moving to South Plainfield.

She was employed by the Metuchen Police Department as a crossing guard.  Mildred was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen for 67 years and was a dedicated volunteer in the church kitchen for over 40 years.  She enjoyed Cape Cod vacations and baking and cooking with her beloved friends and family alike.

She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Rose Kieser, her brother Fred Kieser, and her beloved husband Charles Reeder.

She leaves behind her three daughters, Gail Kampman, of Myrtle Beach, SC;  Susan Jordan, also of Myrtle Beach, SC;  and Janice Reeder, of York, PA;  her sister in law Barbara Kieser;  her grandchildren Curtis, Ashley, and Charlie; and her great grandchildren Chanel, Maiya, Lucas.

Arrangements are Pending and are entrusted to the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ.
