Mildred Huxta, 92, of Edison, passed away at JFK Medical Center on December 5, 2016. She was born in Hopelawn and resided in Edison for the past 60 years. Mildred was a homemaker and communicant of St. Francis Cathedral.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Huxta, in 2003, and grandson, George Lee Huxta.

Mildred is survived by three sons: Michael Huxta, of Beacon, NY, George M. Huxta,  and Mark Wayne Huxta, both of Phillipsburg; two grandsons, Michael and Christopher Huxta.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave, Fords, NJ, 08863 Saturday 9:30-10:15 am. Funeral Services will begin 10:15 am at the funeral home followed by an 11 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen. Entombment will be in St James Mausoleum.
