Michael G. Zsilavetz, 87, of Carteret entered into eternal rest on October 21, 20101, at his home. He was born in Perth Amboy and lived there most of his life before moving to Carteret.

Michael worked as a rigger at AS&R Co. in Perth Amboy for 29 years before retiring in 1976. He was an Army veteran of WWII, where he was in the Signal Corp. and served in the Battle of the Bulge.

He was predeceased by his wife, Ann C. Zsilavetz in 1998; bothers: Steve, John, Louis, and Frank; and sister, Grace A. Murray. He is survived by his sons: Michael P. of Norfolk, VA, Robert L. of Carteret, and Joseph J. of Avenel; 5 grandchildren; and his sister, Helen Ruckriegel of Watchung.

Private services were held under the care of FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Fords, Avenue, Fords, NJ.
