Michael J.Pado, 85 years, of Fords, died Monday, March 29, 2010 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy.

He was born in Hopelawn, and was formerly of Perth Amboy. He has resided in Fords since 1945.

Mr. Pado was employed with the Woodbridge Township Deptartment of Sanitation for 20 years before retiring in 1986. Prior to that, he had been employed with Rheem Manufacturing Co. of Edison.

Mr. Pado was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords. He was a life member of the Fords Fire Co. for over 50 years. He was a member of the Fords/Keasbey Senior Citizens Club.

Mr. Pado is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Pado and his daughter, Dorothy Baumlin and her husband Joseph of Metuchen.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. from the FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, followed by a 10 a.m. blessing at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords.

Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.
