Michael Iannone 86 of Edison, entered into eternal rest, Friday May 3, 2013 at the Heritage Assisted living, in Clara Barton. He was born in NYC, resided in Edison for 25 years, moving to Fords for 31 years, then back to Edison 9 years ago.

Michael retired as a Machine operator at Premier Die Casting in Avenel after many years.

He was the former president of the Heritage residents club.

Michael was predeceased by his long time companion Helen Muglia in 2008 and his nephew Charles Pascale in 2012. He is survived by his nieces Elizabeth Petti of Avenel and Donna Basilio of Middletown, nephews Joseph Dematteo, and Dominick Dematteo of Jackson, Robert Dematteo of Howell, Richard Dematteo of Woodbridge, John Camerino of Yonkers, NY, and Anthony Dimino of NC, and 14 grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm in lieu of flowers contributions are requested to Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center 65 James Street, Edison, N.J. 08820.
