Michael S. Giordano, 50, of Fords died suddenly Sunday, November 13, 2011, at Raritan Bay Medical Center.
Born October 19, 1961, in Summit, NJ, he lived most of his life in Fords. Michael worked for Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA, as a pit boss and dealer. He also worked at Caesar's and Sands Casinos in Atlantic City. He liked traveling and going on cruises. He volunteered as a counselor for DYFS in Ocean County. Michael was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords.
He was predeceased by his nephew, Ralph, in 2001. Surviving are his mother, Mary Ann Giordano of Fords; father, Ralph Giordano and wife Nancy of Jackson; brothers: Ralph Giordano Jr. and wife Nancy of Pennsylvania, and Keith Giordano and wife Kristen of Pennsylvania; nieces: Victoria Black and husband Kevin, and Delilah Giordano; nephews: Matthew, Christopher, Jesse, and Maxwell Giordano; great-nephew Kevin Black; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services will begin Thursday, November 17, 2011, at 10:00 am from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday, November 16, 2011, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
