Michael Samuel Ferraro 95, of Fords, entered into eternal rest, Monday February 24, 2014 at his home. He was born in Jamestown, NY, and has resided in Fords for the past 64 years.

Michael retired in 1973 as a maintenance repairman at FMC in Carteret after 21 years, after which he worked in the family business until very recently.

He served his country faithfully in the army during WW II.

Michael was predeceased by his wife Verbena Rose Pupa Ferraro in 2008. He is survived by his sons Samuel A. and his wife Rosann of Earlville, MD, Frank and his wife Clare of Millstone Twp, Louis and his wife Carol of Holmdel, and Michael and his wife Milena of Edison, his daughter Nancy Ferraro of Fords, grandchildren Cynthia, Danielle, Frank, Nicole, Lisa, AJ, Dina, Justin, Christopher, and Michael, five great grandchildren and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 8:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 9 am funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Iselin. Visitation is Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
