Michael A. Brown, 68 years old, of Edison, passed suddenly at his home on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

He was born in Glen Ridge NJ and had resided in Edison for most of his life.

He was a graduate of Edison High School with the Class of 1973 where he gained lifelong friendships full of stories and laughs.

He retired after 45 years from Edison Generator Exchange where his name was synonymous with ingenuity and overall service excellence.

Beyond Mike being an avid golfer, he was a devoted husband, proud father, and extraordinary grandfather. Mike never met a stranger and was generous to all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 43 years, Lynn Rose Brown, who died October 28, 2018, his parents, Charles and Shirley Brown, and his brother Ronald Brown.

He leaves behind his beloved son, Michael S Brown and his wife Tina of Hamilton as well as two beloved daughters, Danielle Zertuche and her husband Patrick of Newport, MN, and Eileen Scillath and her husband Jacob of Rahway, and his three cherished grandchildren,  Michael and Olivia Brown and Anthony Zertuche, and his two brothers, David and Steven Brown, both of Edison.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 2 to 6 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863. A prayer service will be held at 5:30 pm, officiated by Pastor Joe Gratzel

Cremation will be held privately.
