Maximino Arroyo entered into eternal rest on the 28th of January at 90 years of age. He was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, the youngest of 19, served in the army, married and moved to Perth Amboy at the age of 26 with his wife Carmen. Here, he was very active in his church and in the community serving on various committees. Max was a 4th degree in the knights in the Knights of Columbus and was most passionate about working with the youth in our community. He was on the board of Daycare 100 for many years and was appointed to Middlesex County Child Placement Review Board. His wife Carmen, daughters, Gladys Ferrer and Madeline Arroyo, his grandsons, Michael, Chase and Connor and great grandson Wyatt, survives Maximino. Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Monday evening from 5 pm to 8pm. Services will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 am, followed by an 11:30 Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Perth Amboy. Entombment will be in Alpine cemetery.
