Mavis Sampson 87, of Fords, entered into eternal rest, June 27, 2019, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.  She was born in Grenada and has resided here for the past 32 years.

Mavis was a registered nurse at Peninsula Nursing Home in Far Rockaway, NY for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband Emanuel in 2013.  Mavis is survived by her son Englebert Sampson of Fords, and her daughter Francis Sampson of Trinidad, her sisters Kathleen Alexander, Margerie Perot, and Glenda Batiste, and 5 grandchildren.

A memorial service is being planned for a future date at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.
