Matilda Theckla Olsen's Obituary
Matilda Theckla Olsen (nee Schmidt), 86, of North Carolina, formerly of Fords and Edison, died on June 19, 2010, in Columbus, North Carolina.
Matilda was born on July 17, 1927, in Perth Amboy and resided in Fords and Edison for most of her life. She was a homemaker. She was a graduate of the Drake Business School.
Matilda was predeceased by her husband, LeRoy "Scotty" Olsen, former Circulation Manager of the News Tribune, who died in 1976. She was also predeceased by her parents, George Schmidt and Matilda Schmidt,in 1976 and 1989, respectively.
Graveside service on will be held on Friday, June 25, at 11 am in Alpine Cemetery from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ.
