MaryAnn Elizabeth Janderup (nee Daly),78, died December 7, 2010, at her daughter's home in South Amboy surrounded by her loving family. She was born at home on May 21, 1932, in Perth Amboy where she was a life-long resident. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Andrew Donald Janderup, to whom she was married for over 53 years; her late parents Daniel and Elizabeth (Smisko) Daly; her late brother, Michael Daly; and her late son-in-law, William F. Housman.

She is survived by her children: Catherine Ann Housman of South Amboy, Donald Michael Janderup and his wife Kathleen of Williamsburg, VA; six grandchildren: Kathryn, Kristen, Deidre, Dana, Donna, and Lori; six great-grandchildren: Kyle, William, Ashlynn, Kaylie, Evan and Aidan; and sister, Elizabeth Daly Jordan of Cape Coral, FL.

She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School Class of 1950. She was a communicant of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Perth Amboy. MaryAnn loved music, especially classical music and opera. She enjoyed reading, was very intelligent, and she had a special fondness and caring for animals and nature. Although she held several part-time jobs throughout the years to support her family, MaryAnn's forte was her never-ending commitment and love for her husband, children, grandchildren and family. MaryAnn was a strong and vibrant woman right until the very end. Her humor, kindness, selflessness and love will continue to inspire us.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m., St. Mary's Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, South Amboy, NJ. Visitation will be Friday 4:00-7:00 p.m.
