Maryann Hansel's Obituary
Maryann (nee: Vachitis) Hansel, 94, of McConnells, SC, passed peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2017, at the Piedmont Medical Center, Rockhill, SC.
Born in Plymouth Twp., PA, she was formerly of Perth Amboy and Fords, NJ before moving to McConnells, SC, 22 years ago.
She was a former member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Perth Amboy, the Fords/ Keasbey Seniors and the Market Square Seniors of Perth Amboy, and had also been an avid bowler in various leagues and bowling alleys throughout the area, for many years.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur F. Hansel, who died in 1993 and her beloved daughter, Dawna Szymborski, who died in 1995.
Maryann leaves behind her two beloved grandchildren, Arthur J. Szymborski and his wife Krista and Tricia Lynn Campbell and her husband, John, all of McConnells, SC and her four great grandchildren; Arthur Joseph and Jessica Renee and Brandon James and Zoe Rochelle.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Alpine Cemetery on Amboy Ave. Perth Amboy.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords NJ.
