Mary Lorraine Zambrano, 75, of Fords, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023, at JFK Hospital, Edison with her daughter by her side.

She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Fords for the past 46 years.  Mary was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School class of 1965. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Citibank, Manhattan for 20 years.  After staying at home to raise her daughter, Mary went back to work as a Cashier for A & P at Tano Mall for over a decade.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, William Ernest and Rebecca Dawes and her brother John Dawes.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Jennifer and her husband Xavier.

Mary was a diehard Yankee fan and an avid book reader.  Please read a book in her honor and support local libraries.
