Mary H. Saksinsky, 88, of Jackson, passed away peacefully at the Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville on August 6, 2026. She was born on March 25, 1938, in Perth Amboy, to the late Annette and John Norko. She grew up in Perth Amboy and graduated from St.Mary’s High School, Class of 1955. Mary was a communicant of St Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, Blessed John Paul II Parish, and later in life, St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Saksinsky in 2022; two brothers, Earl McCracken, and his wife, Emily; and Albert Norko, and his wife, Anne.

Mary is survived by a loving nephew, John Batiuk, and his wife, Donna, of Bayville; a loving niece, Judy Saksinsky, of Jupiter, FL; niece, Anne Mitchel, and her husband, Vincent; nephew, Michael Norko, and his wife, Debra, and many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, from 9:30 – 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Funeral services will begin Tuesday 10:30 am at the funeral home, followed by an 11:00 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Stephen’s Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
