Mary A. (Jankovich) Sabo, 97, of Fords, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at McCauley Hall Health Care Center, Watchung.

Born in Perth Amboy, she was a resident of Fords for 66 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Fords, and a former member of the Altar Rosary Society. The family would like to extend sincere thanks and appreciation to the Sisters and staff at McCauley Hall for the good care and kindness they gave to Mary.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Sabo, in 1982; and seven brothers and sisters. Surviving are three children, James P. Sabo and daughter-in-law Barbara of Bernardsville, Joan Naberezny and son-in-law Richard of South Plainfield, and John R. Sabo and daughter-in-law Christine of Manalapan; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Jankovich of Perth Amboy; and a sister, Kate Hassey of Perth Amboy.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 1 until the funeral services at 11:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 12 noon Mass at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, Fords. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn.
