Mary Johnson, 91, of Metuchen, passed peacefully on Wednesday April 15, 2015 at the McCarrick Care Center in Somerset.

Born in Fords, she had resided in what is now known as Edison, before moving to Metuchen in 1953.

Mary retired in 1990, after working over 30 years as a packer with Personal Products Inc. of North Brunswick, prior to that she had been employed with General Ceramics Corp. of Keasbey for many years as a machine operator.

She was a communicant of St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen.

She was the most loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother anyone could wish for.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George A Johnson and her beloved daughter, Darlene Johnson.

Mary leaves behind, her beloved caregiver and devoted son, George M. Johnson, with whom she resided, her loving daughter, Louise M. Lund and her husband Gary, of Somerset, her dear sister, Elizabeth Estok also with whom she resided, four loving grandchildren; George E. Johnson and his wife Anacelia, Yvonne Davisson and her husband Alan, of all of South Plainfield, Renee Di Marzio and her husband Florindo, of Franklin Park and Kimberly Satnowski and her husband Steven of Piscataway, her eight dear great grandchildren, Gillian Johnson, Troy, Kyle and Skyler Davisson, Christina and Nicholas Di Marzio and Emily and Madisson Satnowski and three step granddaughters.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 19, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords NJ 08863.

Funeral services will be on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 9:30 am from the Flynn and son Funeral Home, Fords, followed by a 10:15 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn.
