Mary C. Messina, 96, formerly of Edison, passed peacefully on Sunday morning, July 28, 2019 at the Haven Hospice Unit at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Born on April 22, 1923, in Brooklyn, NY, she had lived most of her life in Edison, NJ.

She at one time was a seamstress for the soldiers, during WW II.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.

Mary leaves behind, her beloved daughter and son -in-law; Donna and Eduardo Vasquez of the Parlin section of Old Bridge Twp., her dear granddaughter; Stephanie Endress, and her husband Steven, of Dunellen, NJ, her niece "Pammy" and her two grandcats; "Rickey" and "Lucy".

Visitation will be on Wednesday morning, July 31, 2019 from 9 am to 10 am, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863. Followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed with a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Entombment will take place in the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, Piscataway.
