Mary M. Eagle, 87, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.

Born and raised in Staten Island, Mary was one of eight children to the late Edward and Margaret Meyers Milius.  She was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Eagle who passed away in 2017.

Mary was a woman of many interests.  First and foremost, she loved her family dearly.  There was nothing that she wouldn't do to help them in any way she could. She constantly doted on them; always checking in on their well-being. She also had an inquisitive side as well.  Mary "loved to learn."  She was frequently looking to expand her knowledge, filling her mind with trivia, random facts, new vocabulary, and challenging herself with crossword puzzles.  The lighter side of her loved to keep up with the latest current events. When you put all of Mary's qualities together you came up with a loving, selfless, caring woman who was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mary was also preceded in death by her siblings Joseph, Robert, and Virginia. She recently lost a son, Edward Eagle this past March.  She is survived by her daughter Mary Delistovich and husband Pasko; son Robert Eagle; daughter-in-law Brenda Eagle; siblings Rosemarie, John, Ella and Edward; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Friends may call on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 1:00 until 5:00pm at Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen NJ.  A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:00 am from Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 7396 Amboy Rd., Staten Island, NY. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
