Mary V. Daly, 97, of Woodbridge passed away peacefully on April 10, 2014. Born in Bayonne, Mary had resided in Fords, Woodbridge and Edison. Mary was a retired office clerk for Chevron Oil, Perth Amboy.

Mary worked part time in Bamberger's Department Store, Menlo Park. She was a former member of the St. James Church, where she had served as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of its Rosary Society. Mary was a volunteer at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. She was a Middlesex County Board of Election Volunteer. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughter 's of America. Mary volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Woodbridge. She also was an avid Mets and NY Giants fan.

Mary is predeceased by her husband Robert E. Daly (1984) and her late granddaughter Kristi Peterson (1995).

Mary is survived by her five children: Robert E. Daly of FL, Thomas P. Daly and daughter-in-law Jean of Edison, Kathleen Peterson and son-in-law David of Woodbridge, David R. Daly and daughter-in-law Deborah of PA and Kevin R. Daly and daughter-in-law Susan of NYC; Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
