Mary L. (nee: Sovart) Blanchard, of Highland Park, passed peacefully on Friday, February 15, 2013 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick..

Born in Edison, she has resided in Highland Park for the last 64 yrs.
She graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1938.

She was a communicant of the Tranfiguration of the Lord Parish at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Highland Park and was a member and past president of the Altar Rosary Society at the church.
She was pre deceased by her husband of 60 years, Robert H. Blanchard, Sr. who died in 2008 and her most beloved son, Robert Bruce Blanchard, who died in 1982, her dear brothers and sister, Michael, George, Joseph, and Edward Sovart and Anna Shanta., sister in law Ronnie Sovart, 2 nephews Joseph and Kenneth Sovart, sister in law, Emma Lucey and nephew Chris Lucey.

Mary is survived by several nieces and nephews, including, Dolores Gerba and her husband Ronald of Edison, beloved nephews and caregivers Scott, Todd (and his wife, Karleen) and Jason Gerba, sister in law, Anna Sovart of Edison and Marie Peterson of Toms River, nieces, Janet Sovart of New Hampshire and daughters, Alicia and Lindsay, Robin Emerson and her husband Joseph, and their children, Amanda, Julie and nephew, Seth of Pt Pleasant, and her wonderful caregiver and special friend, Ramona Manibo.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday February 20, 2013 at 9:45 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church,502 Raritan Ave. Highland Park, NJ 08904 Entombment will follow in St. Peter's Mausoleum, New Brunswick.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
