Mary Elizabeth Benyola (nee: Fantazier) 98, of Hopelawn, passed peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

She was born on September 4, 1922, in Miners Mill, PA. and was a longtime resident of the Hopelawn section of Woodbridge Twp.

She was a retired seamstress and teacher at the Perth Amboy Vocational High School in Perth Amboy.

She was a founding member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Hopelawn.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Samuel Benyola, who died on September 26, 1989, and her beloved son Richard, who died on May 25, 1998.

She leaves behind to mourn, her beloved son; Leonard Benyola of Lebanon Twp., NJ and a daughter, Maryann Graham her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.

A private visitation and funeral was held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ, and entombment followed in the family mausoleum at the Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery in Hopelawn.
