Mary Ann Anglin, 82, of Avenel, passed unexpectedly, on Friday, October 5, 2018, at RWJ at Rahway, while recovering from injuries sustained in a pedestrian-motor vehicle accident.
Born in Perth Amboy, and formerly of Fords, she had resided Avenel in for the last 53 years.
She was a retired legal secretary for over 15 years with the Methfessel & Werbal Law firm in Piscataway. Prior to that, she had worked in the accounting dept. at Chevron Oil in Perth Amboy for over 12 years.
She was an active member of the New Dover United Methodist Church in Edison, and volunteered in the Flee Market Kitchen among other events at the church. She enjoyed gardening, camping, going to Disney World, visiting Cape May and the Jersey Shore. She was an avid lottery player, but most of all, she was a loving and doting grandmother.
She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Matthew Anglin who died in 1998.
She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Mary Ellen Anglin, her son Robert Anglin and his wife Christan, and her granddaughter, Mackenzie.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
Funeral Service will begin on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 10 am, from the funeral home, followed by an 11 am funeral service at The New Dover United Methodist Church, in Edison.
interment, will follow in Hazel Wood Cemetery Rahway.
