Mary (Petercsak) Adleman, 92, of Fords died Wednesday morning, November 29, 2017 at home. She was pre-deceased by her husband Meyer (Mike) Adleman in 2013.

Born September 14, 1925 in Keasbey, NJ, Mary worked as a supervisor at the local Philip Carey Plant where she met Mike. They married in 1946 and in 1949 moved into the home in Fords which they shared for the rest of their marriage.

Most of her married life Mary was a homemaker. However, she and Mike ran a summer business in Keansburg for two seasons. Mary also worked for a few years as a sales person at Stern's Department Store. Mary was an avid and skilled bridge player whose razor sharp memory allowed her to recall every card played. She and Mike especially loved to go square dancing together as well; with Mary even making all of her own square dance dresses.

Mary is survived by her son Richard and wife Kathleen; her daughter Patricia and husband Jeffrey; her son Randall and wife Cynthia and her son Robert; ten grandchildren: Allison, Nancy, Jim, Melissa, Brian, Kevin, Tim, Mike, Mandy and Lindsey; and nine great-grandchildren; Ryan, Elizabeth, Annabelle, Mack, Evelyn, Knox, Roman, Gregory and Beau. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lucille Petercsak and several nieces and nephews. Mary was pre-deceased by all of her siblings: Stephen, John, Michael, Julia and Andrew Petercsak.

Family and friends will gather at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford
Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 on Saturday, December 2, at 9:30 am with a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at Our Lady of Peace Church, Edison. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 pm. Interment will be in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Hopelawn, NJ.
