Mr. Mark J. McCracken passed peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at his home in Woodbridge.

Born and raised in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Earl and Emily McCracken.  He was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Metuchen, then went on to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.  Mark and his family moved to Bel Aire, MD where he worked most of his career at Alcar, Inc. in Belcamp, MD.  Years later, Mark moved back to NJ and settled in Woodbridge.  He became one of the "regulars" to the morning breakfast crowd at the Colonial Diner in Fords.

Mark is survived by his daughter Jennifer Velasquez and her husband Steven; his son Earl McCracken; grandchildren Savannah and Christopher Ryan.  He is also survived by many cousins, and his breakfast buddies at the diner.

Cremation will take place privately.  Arrangements are under the care of the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, Fords.
