Mark J. Douglas 60, of Fords, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Mark was born in Elizabeth and has resided in Fords for the past 30 years. He was employed at Englert Inc. in Perth Amboy for the past 5 years and previously worked at Celotex Corp. in Perth Amboy. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords and enjoyed golf and listening to music and was an avid Giants and Yankees fan. Mark was very talented and did a lot of carpentry work around the house and he was also a great photographer.
Mark was predeceased by his father, John, in 1964. He is survived by Marguerite Larsen Douglas, his wife of 39 years; two sons, John Raymond Douglas of Tinton Falls and Evan Martin Douglas of Fords; his mother, Bernice Douglas Evangelista of Berkley Heights; his sister, Erin Gunneson and her husband Lee of Avenel; brother-in-law Martin Larsen of Pembroke Pines, FL; and his nephew and niece, Michael and Tara Rinkus.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011, at 9:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, June 10, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.
