Marilyn B. Petrucelli of Edison passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at JFK University Medical Center in Edison. She was 91.

Born in West Orange, Marilyn had lived in Edison for the past 60 years. She was a school teacher at Martin Luther King School in Edison for 25 years retiring in 1999.

Predeceased by her husband, Frank in 2013; Marilyn is survived by her four children: Steven and his wife Randi of Edison, Christopher and his wife Eve, of Texas, Jeffrey and Patricia; six grandchildren: Gabrielle, Nicholas, Andrew, Francesca, Briana and Olivia; one great-grandchild, Malcolm, and her sister, Lyn Spero, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers: Joseph DeZao, and Richard DeZao.

Friends and family may visit at Flynn and Son Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 5-8 pm. Services will begin Wednesday, March 12, 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy St. Helena Roman Catholic Church, 950 Grove Ave., Edison. Marilyn will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery, VA to be with her husband at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to the Wounded Warriors and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
