Marilyn Ruth (nee: Miller) Grandjean, 65, of Edison, passed peacefully at the CareOne at the Highlands, in Edison on Thursday, January 23, 2014.

She was born in Elizabeth, and has resided in Edison for the last 27 years.
Marilyn graduated from the Seton Hall University College of Nursing, later received her certificate as a Certified School Nurse at Jersey City State College which later became N.J. City University in Jersey City.

She retired in 2011 after 17 dedicated years as a Certified School Nurse for the Edison Twp Board of Education, finishing with her last assignment at Edison High School.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 38 years, Robert Grandjean, her beloved daughter, Catherine Grandjean Kenney and her husband, John, of Edison, her dear grandson, Colin Michael Grandjean of Edison, her loving sister, Beverly L. Orlowski and her husband, Michael of Edison and her loving brother, Richard C. Miller and his wife Charlotte, of Jutland, also surviving are many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 10 a.m. from the Flynn & son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Service of Requiem at Trinity Episcopal Church, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in the Trinity Episcopal Churchyard.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 26, 2014, from 1pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at the funeral home.
