It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Hernandez, 56, of Princeton, who left us on September 28, 2024.

She was born in Newark, NJ and was formerly of Perth Amboy and was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School.

Marilyn was a beloved niece, sister, aunt, God mother, cousin and friend.

She was predeceased by her parents, Wilson Hernandez and Irma Arocho Hernandez.

She leaves behind her sisters, Deliris and Iraida, her brother Wilson Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Pedro and Kenny, sister-in-law Dana; three nieces, God daughter Lily, Faith and Yelaisha, two nephews David and Keshawn; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Marilyn had a profound love for animals and a genuine ability to make friends with anyone she met.

She enjoyed celebrating life's milestones and holidays surrounded by her family.

Marilyn's love for her family and friends was boundless.  She possessed a beautiful innocence that endeared her to everyone.  Her kindness, and infectious enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Marilyn's legacy of love and connection will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday October 4, 2024, from 10 am until 12 noon with a service at 11:30 am. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Interment of her cremated remains will follow in Shoreland Memorial Park Cemetery Hazlet.
