Marilyn Costello, 77, of Fords died Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the JFK Medical Center, Edison.

Marilyn was born in Jersey City, was formerly of Jersey City Heights, and has resided in Fords since 1959. She graduated with the Class of '51 from Ferris High School in Jersey City.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, James D. Costello; her loving children: Robert J. Costello and his wife Leigh Ann of Glenview IL, Susan Surber of Bixby, OK, James Costello, Jr. of Fords, and Linda Costello of Naples, FL. She was a dearest grandmother of seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a devoted sister to James and Thomas Durkin of Spring Hill, FL.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church Fords. Entombment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday, December 16, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.
