Marie I. Tanko Teliha 93, of Edison, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the Willow Creek Nursing Home, in Somerset. She was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Edison for more than 20 years.

Marie worked as a teachers aide in Highland Park and Edison for 10 years, which she truly enjoyed. She was more notable a homemaker raising her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Marie was predeceased by her husband Peter A. Teliha in 1994. She is survived by her children John P. and his wife Carla of Highland Park, Peter A. and his wife Mary Ann of Rahway, and Patricia Rockman and her husband Andrew M. of Highland Park, grandchildren Justin, Maria, and Angel, great grandchildren Ayanna, Stephanie, Alexandra, and Damian, great great grandchildren Julianna and Matthew, and her siblings Robert, Ronald, and William Tanko, and Isabelle Sama.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 7, 2013 at 11 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, with Fr. Michael Chendorain officiating. Visitation is Friday 5-9 pm, with Panahida at 8pm.
