Marie Elena "Sissy" Bauman 47 of Edison, entered into eternal rest Saturday May 17, 2014. She was born in Elizabeth, grew up in Conway, SC, and has resided in Edison for the past 10 years.

Marie worked as a waitress at the Edison Diner in Edison.

Sissy was a very kind hearted and generous person who loved pets. She had hoped that one day she would have an animal rescue shelter.

Sissy is survived by her dear friend Michael Kaner and his daughter Michelle of Edison, her father Jerry of Conway, SC, and her mother Nancy of Lakewood. She is also survived by her siblings William, Tammy, Heather, Shannon, Shane, Kelly, Casey, and George.

Family and friends will gather at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen on Sunday May 25, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A memorial service will take place at 8:30 pm.
