Marie L. Ross, 82, of Perth Amboy, passed away on September 22, 2024, at Serenity Hospice at RWJUH, Hamilton.  Marie was born on June 9, 1942, to Louis and Catherine Paone in Perth Amboy.  She was a Clerk for Pathmark, Hopelawn, for 23 years before retiring.  Marie was a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish-Holy Rosary Church and was a member of the Ladies Guild.

Marie was predeceased by her husband, Walter (2021); her sister, Stella Paone; and her brother, Nicholas Paone.

Marie is survived by her children, Charles W. Ross and daughter-in-law Patty and Lisa M. Savoia; her grandchildren: Samantha, Olivia, Sydney, Shawn and Shane; and her brother, Ben Paone, and her two nephews, Christopher and Michael Paone.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 12:00 Noon Funeral Liturgy at Good Shepherd Parish-Holy Rosary Church.  Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Parish Cemetery, Hopelawn.
