Marie A. Olexsa, 76, of Edison died June 23, 2010, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.
Born March 6, 1934, in Perth Amboy, she resided in Edison her entire life. Marie was a homemaker. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace, Fords, and a member of the Columbiettes Council 299 of Perth Amboy.
Marie is predeceased by her late parents, Andrew and Emma (Zegan) Yuhas; her late husband, Joseph in 1990; and her late son, David, in 2002.
Surviving family members include: 2 sons, Michael and his wife, Cindy, of North Brunswick; and Paul and his wife, Lisa, of Oley, PA; 1 daughter, Joann Klish of Edison; 6 grandchildren: David, Michael, Victoria, Jimmy, Paul, and Nicholas; 2 great-grandchildren: James and Paisley; 1 brother, Andrew; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 9:30 am from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Hopelawn. Visitation will be on Friday, June 25, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association, New Jersey Chapter, 1 Kalisa Way, Suite 205, Paramus, NJ 07652
