Marie V. Luckus, 77, of Edison, passed suddenly on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Care One at the Highlands in Edison.

Born in and formerly of the Mechanicsville section of South Amboy, she had resided in Edison the last 54 years.

Marie was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords and enjoyed roller skating and ice skating in her younger years. She shared a love of music with her husband and family and was always there to support her children and her grandchildren in all of their sporting activities and theatrical productions and also enjoyed watching AMA Supercross and Motocross motorcycle racing on TV with her son.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Luckus, who died in Feburary of 2014 and her siblings, George, Claire, John and Veronica Antonio.

Marie leaves behind, her beloved children, Joseph Luckus, of Edison and Nancy Lapierre and her husband Guy, of Old Bridge and, her two grandchildren, Shelby and Cassidy, 17 nieces and nephew and 17 great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 4-8 pm at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863

Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10:00 am the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church,
interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
