Marie Kaczmar, 90, of Edison, passed away peacefully at home on May, 15, 2017. She was born in Port Reading on February 22, 1927. Marie was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School and the Drake Business School. She enjoyed: traveling, reading, dancing and the NY Mets. She also enjoyed taking trips to the Sands Casino in PA. She was proud of her Irish heritage.

Marie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Kaczmar in 2003; sister, Irene Girdner; and two brothers, Alfred and Joseph Girdner.

She is survived by three daughters: Karen Kaczmar and her husband, Robert Mazza, of Edison; Jan Kaczmar of Edison, and Kathleen Sinclair and her husband, James, of Edison; granddaughter, Rebecca Bannon and her husband, Morgan; and two great-granddaughters, Adina Marie and Mila Rose.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will begin Thursday 11:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 12 Noon Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will be in the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption Cemetery.
