Marie E. (nee: Rolfe) Halsey, 80, of Edison, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Parker at Mc Carrick Care Center in Somerset.


Born in New Brunswick she had been a lifelong resident of Edison. She was a graduate of New Brunswick High School.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James, who died in 2013; her beloved daughter Karen, who died in 2008; and her beloved grandson James, who died in 2015 and two beloved brothers, James Rolfe, and Henry Rolfe.


Marie leaves behind her beloved daughter, Susanne L. Hopewell of Highland Park; her beloved sons, Kevin Halsey and his wife Ronna, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, and Matthew P Halsey of Edison, her beloved son-in-law, Dennis Quinn of Raritan; six grandchildren; Jason, Aimee, Ryan, Harley, Phillip and Kelly; her twelve great-grandchildren; Danielle, JJ, Kayla, Emily, Rebecca, Peyton, Taylor, Christian, AnnMarie, Jack, Lincoln, and Elizabeth; and her three brothers George Rolfe of Louisiana, Karl Rolfe of Benton, ME and Edward Rolfe of PA.



Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, from 11 am to 3 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840, with a funeral service following visitation at 3 pm. Cremation will follow privately.
