Marie E. (nee: Bartus) Hahn, 72, of Colonia, passed peacefully, on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Haven Hospice Unit at the JFK Medical Center, Edison.

Born in Elizabeth, and formerly of Avenel, she had resided in Colonia for the last 40 years.

She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, with the Class of '62 and a communicant of St. John Vianney RC Church in Colonia.

She retired in 2014 after 29 years working in data entry at Brazill Bros., North Brunswick.

Marie is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert F. Hahn, who died in 2009 and her dear granddaughter, Brittni who died in 1993.

She leaves behind, her five beloved children; Cheryl A. Melendez of Colonia, Robert F. Hahn and his wife Pauline, of Pa., Joseph E. Hahn and his wife Wendy, of North Plainfield, Steven M Hahn and his wife Lynne, of Colonia and David J Hahn and his wife Jennifer, of Jackson, 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren and two brothers; Sonny Bartus of Toms River and Richard Bartus of Port St. Lucie, FL

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 4 pm to 8 pm at, the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 8:30 am from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. John Vianney Church, entombment will follow in Good Shepherd Mausoleum at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
