Marie (Skreptack) Caro, 89 of Fords, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.  Born in Perth Amboy, Marie was a resident of Fords for 45 years.  She was a communicant of Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption, Perth Amboy and a member of the St. Anne's Society at the church.  Marie loved spending time with family and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Christmas was her favorite holiday.  Marie also enjoyed going to Atlantic City.

Marie was predeceased by her sister, Anna Racz.

Marie is survived by her husband Joseph C. Caro to whom she was married to for 69 years; her sons, Richard Caro and daughter-in-law Kathryn, and Bruce Caro and daughter-in-law Colleen; her two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 9 AM to 9:30 AM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords.  We will begin to leave at 9:30 AM followed by a 10 AM Service of Divine Liturgy at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption.  Interment will be in the church cemetery in Hopelawn.
