Marian M. (nee: Montozzi) Yovan, 89, of  Port St. Lucie, FL, and Edison, passed peacefully, on Saturday October 8, 2016 at Kindred at RWJU Hospital at Rahway.  Born in Perth Amboy and formerly of Woodbridge, she had resided in Edison since 1964 before making her primary residence Florida, in 2008.  She was the General Manager and Trustee of Arlington Cemetery in Kearny for many years and prior to that she had been with Beth Israel Memorial Park/Woodbridge Memorial Gardens for many years.  She was a member of the Metuchen Country Club and Most Holy Rosary Church of the Good Shepherd Parish in Hopelawn.

Marian was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alexander Yovan, who died in 2007, and her parents Natale and Lena Montozzi.

Marian leaves behind her nephew, Natale L. Montozzi, Sr. of Florida; two great nephews, Lawrence J. Montozzi, III of Perth Amboy and Natale L. Montozzi , Jr of Florida; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Danny and Terry Yovanovich of the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge, and Jay and June Yovanovich of Tennessee.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, from 4-8 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Most Holy Rosary Church of the Good Shepherd Parish, interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Fords.
