Maria Veronica O'Connell's Obituary
Maria Veronica O'Connell, 38, of Edison, died on June 22, 2011, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
She was a life-long resident of Edison and a graduate of Edison High School. Everyone who knew her knew her love of life.
She is survived by her parents, Gary and Marie Emrich of Edison; son, Shawn Patrick O'Connell of Edison; sister, Theresa Gundersen, of Edison; brothers, John Emrich of Neptune, and Gary Emrich of Edison. Maria is also survived by her fiancé, Bruce Brandon of Edison, and her niece and nephew Tanya and James Gundersen also of Edison.
Friends may call at the Flynn & Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen on Sunday, June 26, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at the funeral home on Monday, June 27 at 9:45 a.m. followed by a 10:30 a.m Funeral Liturgy in Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will take place in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
