Maria C. Noel, 85, of Perth Amboy died September 27, 2010, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.

Born March 2, 1925, in Cuba, Maria has resided in Perth Amboy for the past 30 years. She was an elementary school teacher in Cuba for 25 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Perth Amboy.

Maria is survived by her husband, Aurelio, to whom she was married for 55 years; a son, Omar of Sewaren and his companion, Angela Matias; a daughter, Hilda Mallow and her husband Ferran of North Bergen; and 2 grandchildren, Omaris and David.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 AM on Thursday, September 30, 2010, from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 29, from 7-9 PM.
