Maria D. Miranda, 84, of Perth Amboy, passed away at home on October 10, 2024. She was born on April 4, 1940, in Coamo, Puerto Rico. Maria was a Homemaker. She loved to dance, watch novellas and spend time with her family.

Maria was predeceased by a sister, Neyda, and two brothers, Andy and Junior.

She is survived by two daughters, Magdalena Hernandez, of Iselin and Madelin Petrosino, of Winter Park, FL; a son, Miguel Figuroa Jr.; seven grandchildren: Jose Jr., and his wife, Christine, Frankie, Kenny, Eileen, Damaris, Ashley, and Catalina; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Hector Miranda, of Kissimmee, FL.; caregivers, Denise Ramirez and Alexandra Figueroa.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, at 11 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery.
