Maria Garcia, 86, of the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

Mrs. Garcia was born in Cuba, and emigrated to the United States in 1972.  In addition to caring for family, she also worked in the candy making business at Astor Chocolates in Brooklyn, NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio B. Garcia in 2001.  Mrs. Garcia is survived by her children Ana M. Dominguez, Maria T. Garcia, and Jose A. Garcia; her granddaughters Christina Dominguez, Vanessa Dominguez, Jessica Dominguez, Jacqueline Salih, and Julianna Garcia.  She is also survived by one great-granddaughter, Chelsea Mercado.

Friends may call on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ, where prayers will be offered at 7:00pm.  Cremation will take place privately.
