A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Peace RC Church located at 620 Amboy Avenue, Edison, NJ 08837 for the cremated remains of Maria Lurdes Couto, 62 years, of Fords, who passed very suddenly at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy on Monday, April 21, 2025.

Maria was born in Mestras-Carvalhal Benfeito, Portugal, and had resided in the Fords Section of Woodbridge Township for the last 28 years.  She's the daughter of the late Francisco and Maria DaSilva.

Maria is survived by her beloved husband, Antonio B. Couto' her daughter, Filipa Couto; her two sons, Luis Couto and Tony Couto; and her three dear grandchildren, all of Fords.
