Obituary of Maria E. Chubak


Maria Elizabeth Chubak, 97, of Perth Amboy, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Mrs. Chubak was born in Perth Amboy to the late George and Anna (Bagin) Evanka and had lived all of her life in Perth Amboy.

She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.

Mrs. Chubak was a member of Perth Amboy Congregation of Jehovah Witness.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Steven in 2003, and also by her four younger sisters; Ann, Elizabeth, Rose and Helen.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Marilyn Chubak, with whom she lived and by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Entombment will follow in the Alpine Cemetery Mausoleum in Perth Amboy. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday from 10 am until the time of services.
