Maria E. Checo 55, of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest, March 12, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  She was born in Cabirmota La Vega, Dominican Republic, and has resided in Perth

Amboy for the past 17 years.

Maria was a hair stylist and owned Celina Beauty Shop in Perth Amboy for 8 years.

Maria is survived by her husband Rafael A. Checo, her children; Ralbin of Woodbridge, Noel of Ft. Lauderdale, and Jennifer Carrero of Old Bridge, her grandchildren Nathaniel, Lucious, and Jayden and 11 brothers and sisters.

Visitation is Sunday March 17, 2019  from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy.  Burial will be in the Dominican Republic.
