Margaret (Hladik) Racin, 92, of South River passed away on February 2, 2013 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Perth Amboy, Margaret had lived most of her life in Perth Amboy before moving to South River 23 years ago.
She was an assembler for Gulton Industries, Metuchen for many years, before working as a cashier for Pathmark, Hopelawn. She was a communicant of Nativity of Our Lord Byzantine Church in East Brunswick.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Anthony Racin (1954); her brother, William Hladik and a sister, Sharon Trehuba.
She is survived by her two sons, James Racin of CA and Brian Racin of South River; two daughters, Theodora Maestre and Amilia Racin of CA; her brother John Hladik; her sister, Iren Cipo; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. The family will receive guests beginning at 9 AM. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Perth Amboy.
