Margaret M. Peterson, 100, of Rahway passed away on April 12, 2016 at her home. She was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Rahway for the last 45 years.
She was employed by the Royal Manufacturing Company in Perth Amboy, Rahway Hospital and Featherbed Lane School in Clark. She was an active member and a 50 year choir member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Perth Amboy and Edison. She was also a member of the Woman's Society for Christian Service and Gideon's International Raritan Camp.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Alvar G. in 1980, her parents, Walter and Frances Marks, and her sister, Karolyn K. Hanrahan in 2015.
Cremation was private. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Fords. Contributions in her memory may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 5053 Woodbridge Ave., Edison, NJ 08837
